At Maison&Objet (Paris, 20-24 Jan). VAL SAINT LAMBERT is launching its new brand Carte Blanche (french for wildcard), dedicated to contemporary art. Carte Blanche is the synthesis of VSL's exceptional heritage and the creativity of contemporary artists.
The very first artist to use the VAL SAINT LAMBERT Carte Blanche were Belgian-Dutch designer duo Job Smeets and Nynke Tynagel from Studio Job, who developed two projects: Piece for Peace, designed for the office of Mr Herman Van Rompuy. President of the European Council and Containers II, a series of 5 fascinating pieces full of paradoxes.
